Katal Center for Health, Equity, and Justice
HARTFORD, CT
Katal launched in February 2016. They work to strengthen the people, policies, institutions, and movements that advance health, equity, and justice for everyone. They seek to accelerate the process of both transactional and transformative change, developing effective change agents, and measuring and evaluating the impact of our work. Their name is inspired by, and draws from, these concepts. It reflects our interest to accelerate the process of social change to secure health, equity, and justice in our communities; develop effective leaders and groups (change agents); and measure and evaluate the impact of our work.
